View on the Everest: trek to Pikey Peak

8 Days

If you are looking for a shorter and less crowded trekking in the Everest region, then the trek to Pikey Peak is perfect. Firstly, because it is a beautiful and less walked path. Moreover, along the way you will visit some authentic Buddhist monasteries, stupas and gompa`s. Besides the cultural beauty, you will have amazing views of the Numbur Himal chain and Everest during the hike.

The view from Pikey Peak is possibly the most beautiful view in Nepal! Sir Edmund Hillary, who together with Norgay Tenzin was the first to climb Mount Everest, called this his favorite view of Everest! We can only agree with him!

You are a little further away from the high peaks, which gives you a wider and more spacious view. In clear weather you can see from the Dhaulagiri in the far west to Kanchenjunga in the far east. And of course everything in between! It is a truly breathtaking panoramic view with countless gigantic peaks.

This trekking to Pikey Peak can be made shorter or longer than our proposed route. But the route we propose is accessible to everyone.
